Jonas Kleerup moved back to Stockholm after several years abroad in 2005. In 2006 he founded the gallery in a small fashion shop with wooden interior dating back to the 1930′s. In its first year it mixed conceptual art, video installation and performances with illustrators, photographers and painters. 2007 it moved further down Tegnérgatan to a larger, loft like basement space and continued with exhibitions, performances and events. After a short break during 2010 (to work with the project Villa) the gallery opened up its new, larger space in 2011 and has now established itself as one of the most emerging gallery with a new generation of art folllowers.

The gallery has worked with renowned architects such as VIDA, John Robert Nilsson, Albert France-Lanord for the various gallery spaces over the years. Since 2008 a close collaboration with design agency KurppaHosk has created an innovative graphic approach with different design strategies for every exhibition.
